• 3 drops carrot seed essential oil
• 2 ½ tsp rose water
• 1 ½ tsp apricot kernel oil
• 1 ½ tsp jojoba oil
• ½ tsp beeswax
• ¼ tsp borax
Method
• Heat jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil and the beeswax at a very low flame in a saucepan. Make sure that the flame is set very low otherwise the beeswax would start burning and also make sure that the mixture is heated not simmered.
• After the mixture is heated thoroughly, remove the saucepan from heat and stir the mixture so that all the ingredients blend together in a smooth way. It should come out as a smooth paste which makes sure that all of the beeswax has been melted during the heating process.
• In a separate saucepan, pour the rose water and heat it on a low flame. Also add borax in the rose water and stir the mixture until borax dissolves in the rose water completely. Make sure that the mixture is blended smoothly together and afterwards remove the saucepan from heat.
• Place the sauce pan containing jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil and beeswax into an ice bath and start whisking the mixture. While you are whisking, start pouring the rose water and borax mixture into the oil mixture in a drizzling manner. Whisk continuously so that the mixture is transformed into a smooth creamy form.
• After mixing all the ingredients and whisking to make sure that the mixture takes the form of smooth creamy paste, set the mixture aside to cool down and afterwards add in the carrot seed oil slowly little by little so that it also blends into the mixture.
• After mixing all the ingredients pour the cream into a clean and sterilized cosmetic jar. This way you can store the cream for almost about a month at a room temperature and if you refrigerate your cream it would last for approximately 2 months.
This is an easy way to make natural eye cream and good results are guaranteed as well as all the ingredients used are naturally nutritious and help to reduce ageing process of your eyes. You can get rid of your dark circles and wrinkles instantly without any costs involved. Make sure that the jar in which you store your cream is clean and sterilized to reduce the danger of growing bacteria in your natural eye cream.
